Swim lesson week!

What a wonderful week! This has by far been the most relaxing week we have had since Spring Break. Who knew you could have a week with nothing planned any night of the week?

Every morning, the boys did Sports Camp at church. This is a great camp put on by our youth group that features one sport every day. Right up the boys' alley! They enjoyed Summer Fun at church on Tuesday, and Mary Beth had swimming lessons all week.

Mary Beth learned how to swim last year, but I still didn't feel confident with her swimming without floaties if an adult wasn't in the pool. She and her bff, Whitney, did a great job this year and were both swimming like fishes today. What a relief! Her swim teacher commented that Mary Beth was a very graceful swimmer. I'm not sure where she got that gene! ;)

I love the next picture. I never washed Mary Beth's hair all week, since I knew all she was doing was swimming. I thought it would be a fun experiment to see how wild things would get. Sure enough, we were bird's nest worthy today! Since she did such a great job swimming, Mary Beth asked me if I would dry her hair and roll it with hot rollers as a treat. I think I am ready for a sleaker look for my wild child, so I will grant her wish tonight!
