Belgian waffles and breathing treatments

I love Saturday mornings. This is my favorite time of the week. I love waking up slowly, having the kids jump in bed with us with their pjs on and snuggling. I love making a big breakfast for the family and lingering at the table. Imagine my surprise this morning when I woke up to the smell of coffee and the sounds of mopping! I went to the kitchen to see my husband making coffee, scrambled eggs and bacon, belgian waffles (the storebought kind, but I give him an E for effort), and cleaning the floor all at the same time. I was shocked! This is not a dig on my sweet husband. He is an incredible help to me, but in our 8 1/2 years of marriage, his only contact with food is making cereal and scooping ice cream! We had a wonderful breakfast together then it was time to do breathing treatments on Matthew and Mary Beth. They both have bad colds and horrible congestion. Mary Beth seems to be doing better, thank the Lord, but it looks like we will be staying home from our Super Bowl party tomorrow night.
