Somehow, this sweet little face that started kindergarten 5 years ago...
Has turned into this sweet face that will walk out of elementary school next week never to look back! 
It's been a fabulous 5 years. Great teachers, dear friends, so much he has learned. Thomas is looking forward to the new chapter in his life next year, but will always love the memories of his time at Woodway. There are so many accomplishments that I am proud of. Several years, he had perfect attendance, and was the boy Outstanding Citizen in his class 3 of the 4 years it was offered (the new principal did away with the honor this year).
Every year, his teachers let me know how helpful he was to them, how kind and compassionate he was to his classmates, and how much he seemed to love learning. I will never forget Thomas telling me his 2nd grade teacher "changed his life" by introducing him to Mark Twain. Since that time, he is rarely without a book in his hand, and is now more than half way through the nearly 800 page Chronicles of Narnia!
I had compiled pictures for the 4th grade slide show of my favorite pictures from the past 5 years at school. Here are some of the best!
