Thomas is really excited to be a kindergartener, but he hasn't talked about it too much. Yesterday, I sat him down to talk a little about the transition. I asked him how he felt about going to school. "Great!", he said without elaborating. I asked him, "Are you a little scared?" He looked at me like I was crazy and said, "Why in the world would you ask me that?", like it was the most absurd question he had ever been asked. "Well, what if you don't know any other kids?" "Uh, I will just have to meet them!" "OK, then what if you don't know where to go?" "Well, that is what standing in line if for." Nothing phases this kid! I have tried to get him a new backpack, but he got one for free at a convention this summer that he likes just fine. He isn't too concerned about school shopping either. He likes the clothes he already has. Something tells me that I am not going to get away that easily with little Mary Beth in two years!

Here is a picture of the boys last week at their T-Ball party. These boys have been friends since birth. They were all born from Sept-Dec of 2001. Two of them will go to one school, two will go to another. I love their little friendships! This Sunday, they will all graduate into the kindergarten class at church and get to walk up to the front of church and get a Bible.
Lots to do this week, so I don't know if I will be able to post much. Have a great rest of the week!

Cute boys! I love how the boy on the left has a pistol in his pants...too funny!
Good luck with school beginning. You're much more of a pro than me! Philip was like Thomas in that he wasn't really too concerned about it. I'm thankful for that!
Have a good week.
They do what at church this week? Did we get a letter? I had no idea. So glad I read this! :) And Rhett is the same way about Kindergarten. No fears. Maybe it's because he is so used to the school from being there with me and Kolby. And he knows so many kids going to SV. The cost of school shopping per gender varies greatly in our family. So far I have only bought Rhett some shoes and a few t-shirts... Miss Kolby is a totally differentstory!(much more expensive and extensive) See you at practice!
I'm sure your boys will do great with school! Gracie has been thrilled to start this week and seems to really like 2nd grade!
What a DARLING...I'm mean HANDSOME group of fellas! That pic will be even cuter when they are all 18 years old looking back! ; )
I agree with Panda Mom.....adorable pic and one they will "love" to see at their rehearsal dinner videos in about 20 years. Enjoy the last days of the summer vacation.
What cuties! I love that picture.
