First Day of First Grade

Well, Matthew is in school! Although not less exciting, this year seemed a bit less dramatic. Matthew and I both knew what to expect. He really loved talking to Mrs. L at Blast Off on Monday night so he was very excited to get to see her again today. I gave Matthew a hug this morning and he said, "Aahhhh. I still remember that last kindergarten hug..." ME seemed sad to say goodbye to Matthew. As we were walking out, she looked at me and said, "Matthew leavin'?"

We have ME's 2 year appointment this morning and I am anxious to see how she "measures up"!

Looking forward to a calm day of cleaning house and playing with my little two!

What a great beginning to a big year! You both are old pros at this now. I'll need your expertise when I send my Kindergartner to school!

So cute! After being a Speech Path for six years I taught in private school 1st grade. SIx year olds are my FAVORITE people on earth! They are sooo cute, funny and think they are independent! BTW my hometown is where BU is. Do you live there? You don't have to say if you don't want to reveal your location. Totally understand!

You had commented on one of your blogs about going back to work and I knew the terms you were using and justs assumed that you were an SLP. The city made since because one of Lauren's comments from someone else said they were driving through there and would miss her. Just from reading I know that you live close to Lauren and ta da...it must be my hometown. We visit there often. entire family is there and my hubby's sister, too. His parents just bought land to retire on in a few years and we go there to fix it up. Anyways-maybe fun to meet up sometime. Did you graduate with Stephanie from calitexans?
