OK, I'm just really having a great day. Maybe I shouldn't jinx it, but I am loving life right now.
I just walked outside to a cool, 86 degree afternoon. It is amazing how cool that feels after 106 degrees days all August! A breeze was coming in from the north. Heaven.
IT SMELLED LIKE RAIN! Wet spots were on the ground and not from my sprinkler system. I have seen rain twice since we moved in 2 months ago. My plants are even in a good mood.
My kids are just too stinking cute today. They make my world a great place to live.
5.95 pizza night! No messing up the kitchen.
No where to be on a Monday. The day gets such a bad rap. I adore Mondays!
Had a thought.

Chris just asked me, "Do we have anything to do tonight?" The answer was a blessed, "No." No baby showers, no wedding showers, no soccer practice. Just staying home! Yea!
I LOVE Mondays, too!! And today? Isn't the world just a nicer place when you aren't MISERABLE from the heat!!!! Yes, indeed, I'll take 86* anyday!
Amen to the cooler weather! I have to ask, where do you get 5.95 pizza from?? Sounds like a good deal!!
It's our Monday Mazzios tradition!
Mazzio's?! I remember that in Plano growing up! Rocking deal. Mondays are really not half bad here either...Rachel is doing her homework, we will have dinner, and then family movie night!!
That sounds like fun, Mandy! Yes, at our local pizza place, you can get a large pizza for 5.50 plus tax on Monday night. I can't make a meal for that cheap! We save our once a week pizza for Mondays.
I love Mondays too - a day with not much going on and some time to myself.
We just had your sloppy joes, they were fabulous! I really do appreciate your recipes.
Just from your pizza place I can almost guarantee that you live in the same place where my hubby grew up. Are the panthers the school mascot of the Big school there? Again, small world. I have been to that pizza place many times. We will actually be there this Friday visiting.
We had Mazzios in Atlanta when I was growing up! I remember many a Sunday night after church going there to eat.
I'm trying to convince myself to like Mondays. Yesterday was a good one. We had some rain, a little breeze, and then a beautiful sunset. Who can complain about that?
It sounds like the weather I had at my house. I wonder if you live near Austin? Today it is pouring rain - I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Peg, we live in the Waco area. I was so excited today to see NO 100 DEGREE DAYS listed in the 7 day forcast!
