My aunt and uncle's house from the boat house.
Always, one of the highlights of our trip is going to Cape Cod baseball games. The boys look through the rosters and find where the Baylor players are playing. These guys were so sweet to our boys. One of them gave Thomas a bat that he had broken in a game the night before. They chatted with the boys the entire game on several nights. So sweet!
These four cousins/second cousins all have summer birthdays. Aunt Judy had a birthday party for them plus a trip to the junior theatre to see Cinderella.
At one point, James dropped his shoes in the river. Matthew jumped in to save them, which he did, but had a hard time swimming back to the dock with the shoes in his hand and a powerful tide pushing him out to sea. He managed to float to the next house down, and the owner of the house gave Matthew a kayak lift back to the house!
Mary Beth and Emma
On our final week at the Cape, my parents rented a house for our entire family. Here the kids are after their first night sleep there.
Mary Beth has slept this way since she was a newborn!
Fried clams!
The beach with my cousin/cousins in law.
Eating breakfast on our back patio.
Sucking down oysters!
One of our days together, we went to Nantucket.
Touring the island. Mary Beth, James, and Jack snoozed through this!
What a gorgeous island!
The Nantucket Whaling Museum
On Main Street in Nantucket.
The beach near my aunt and uncle's house is near a very tame beach. We enjoyed several trips there during our stay!

are you secretly a Kennedy!?!?! How did I miss this east coast connection in our AHS years?? You look fabulous OF COURSE. Happy 15th anniversary!! What a beautiful family & I pray for another happy one 15 years from now! ttyl!!
I feel bad, Em! Did I not tell you I was a Kennedy? Ha!
We came up to New England every two or three years when I was growing up. It's possible I didn't go during the few years at AHS. In fact, I think I went up for a long stay right after we moved to Waco.
You are kind as always. Hope you are well!!
