The air kicked on about 2 p.m. yesterday afternoon and it took the rest of the day to get to "room temperature" but we made it! It is amazing the difference a few degrees can make. 85 degrees: liveable. 87 degrees: unbearable!
This is my only few hours without the kids this week so I need to run errands and have a nice relaxing lunch with girlfriends. Gotta run!
Had a thought.

Oh, thank goodness! It is SO HARD to live without AC in the summer in Texas. I don't know why anyone would have settled here before AC was invented!! Glad y'all are cool again!
Whoa...I am just now reading about the a/c problems! Yikes! Glad that you are cooling off again...what DID people do before Air conditioning????
