ME had her big urology doctor's visit today. Everything went well. The plan is to keep her on antibiotics this year, and if she isn't back to normal by this time next year, she will have surgery. He said that while it is unusual for little girls to grow out of grade 3 reflux, she was so young when we caught it that it is possible.
On the way home, I got a call from the school nurse that Matthew lost the filler on his tooth again. At least we made it past 8 days this time! Back to the dentist...
On the way to piano lessons yesterday, Matthew informed me that he would probably be the worst in class today. I was curious what he meant by that and that my super competetive child would admit to it.
"I have been spending too much time working out to practice this week." says Matthew matter of factly.
He has two parents who don't work out so I am not sure where this came from!
Yesterday, I was in the kitchen and called into the next room, "Who wants to go outside?"
ME ran into the kitchen yelling with her hand raised, "Meeeeee!" I think this is the first time she answered one of my questions with words! Usually she nods or shakes her head.
I am spending this afternoon chilling with my super pregnant sister. I am making her walk and climb stairs much to her chagrin!
I think that is all for now. Have a great Tuesday!
Had a thought.

Nothing seemed to work to put me in labor -- spicy food, walking, se*, -- nothing! I had to be induced both times, but labor went quickly once it got started. A friend of mine swears to castor oil. Let's hope your sister doesn't have to resort to that!
My doctor said castor oil, walking, etc. doesn't work, but sex does. I hope that doesn't throw your blog into some sort of X rating.
I am sorry that I can't elaborate on that because I know too many people who read this blog!
However, I never made it to my due date with any baby and I was never induced.....
Hey...I was being G-rated about it! Ha!
So the horizontal tango is really supposed to work and people really do that this late in pregnancy!? :) I'm having a hard time getting from the couch to the bed, much less do any extracurricular activities once I get there. Good luck to your sister. I'll pray that God makes it happen soon with or without help from you-know-what!
Did I tell you Matthew's favorite words are "I don't know" and he uses them properly in response to questions....
**I'm with you on the remedy for delivery. Plus the fringe benefits....**
Oh, Donna, I wasn't thinking about "I don't know"! If we ask ME where someone is she says, "I don't know" in a real high lilting voice. So cute!
Hannah had grade 3 reflux (on one side) and it went away in one year on its own. Very possible that once she grows even more it will happen for her, too. I will leave the other alone. I had the opposite problem with Hannah...I had to refrain for weeks on end. :)
I had no idea that Hannah had reflux! You make me hopeful that it will go away eventually.
