Things have calmed down quite a bit at our house. No major events in the past two days which is always a blessing! We have stayed home most of the days just playing toys and cooking. I have had to make part of a meal for others three times this week, so I have spent quite a bit of time in the kitchen! Nothing much else to report. Matthew did help me some in the kitchen this morning:
Matthew: "Do you know why I am cutting up peaches? Because I love my family and want to take care of my family."
Me: "Thank you Matthew"
Matthew: "Do you know why I want to take care of my family?"
Me: "Why"
Matthew: "So they don't get leprosy."
Me: "That is really thoughtful Matthew"
Had a thought.

Yes, diced peaches is just the cure!
I also loved how he said that if there were enough peaches left over (as if 1 peach cut up would feed a family of 5), he'd invite Josh and me over to eat them for dinner, too!

Anyway, that is one of the sweetest things! It reminded me of my oldest child.
