What a fun Homecoming night we had on Friday! Matthew was so excited that he was in 7th grade, because Homecoming becomes a very big deal. In fact, it is such a big deal that Matthew asked his friend, Caroline, to Homecoming BEFORE SCHOOL EVEN STARTED! No one could ever say this kid was shy and lacked confidence!
Matthew was also hoping that he and all his friends could hang out at our house for pizza, wings, and pictures before the game. I'm always up for a party, and loved getting the house Homecoming worthy!
Right at 6:00, between 30-35 kids ( I honestly lost count) and all their parents came over for a fun filled hour. God blessed us hugely with gorgeous weather. Mid to lower 70s and not a cloud in the sky. The kids went from the front yard to take picks, blew through the food line, then hung out in the back yard until game time.
Sweet Caroline! We have known their sweet family since elementary days. Caroline is the female equivalent of Matthew and they always have a fun time together.
One of my favorites. A girl group and a boy group. I'd like to say that this gets better with time, but I think this is what our supper club looks like as adults!
Ahhh, the Mama-razzi!
This is one special group of kids. Friends of mine who have older kids and kids in 7th grade even talk about what an unusual group it is. This group LOVES to be together and have such a great time whatever they are doing. The boys are all super athletic, and the girls are very social and Type A. In fact, they are all Type A! That's a lot of energy!
These two have been buds since cradle roll at church. I can't believe how big they are getting!
