If you ask Thomas what the best part of his life is, he will tell you Kamp Kanakuk. For years, he tried to get Mary Beth to go as well, and this year, he finally convinced her! Both of the kids had a ball! Thomas chose triathlon as his main sport and got the award at the end of camp for 100% effort. He also spoke to the parents at closing ceremonies about his faith.
Mary Beth chose tennis for her sport and made many new friends. She did lots of acting as well and kept her cabin in stitches! It was also great that one of her counselors goes to Baylor! As concerned as we were about her leaving for two weeks, she handled it like a pro and can't wait to return next year! After both closing ceremonies, we enjoyed two days in Branson. Matthew even treated Thomas to a crab dinner just the two of them! He wouldn't admit it, I'm sure, but I think he really missed his brother!
