One thing I have always loved about Matthew is that he travels to the beat of a different drum. He likes being with everyone but doesn't feel a need to "fit in". When I ask him who his favorite friend is, he usually says, "Everyone!"
Imagine my surprise when we were walking down the hall recently. Several kids came up to him and said, "Hi, Matthew!" He looked at me with a smug face and said, "I am so popular! I have waited my whole life for this!"
Had a thought.

Note to self: Do not take a swig od Dr. Pepper while reading the punch line to a Matthew story... almost came out the nose ~ ouch!
